was skeptical about ordering a mattress and bed. First let me say this bed is very well made, better than any furniture store I usually shop at. It took my husband an hour to put it together without the kids bothering him. The drawers were so easy to put together and he wasn't happy that I bought a bed with drawers, it was just because he didn't want to put them together. We bought a king size bed and my husband, I and the kids slept in it. It was very stable and didn't squeak or move at all. The color is a perfect gray. It's not as low as some of your favorite beds but not very high either. Right on my nightstand. All in all it was a great purchase and I would definitely buy again.
