Exactly as pictured and described. It is very sturdy and easy to assemble. I really like the idea of lifting the mattress to store things and hide things underneath without making them visible. With this design you can really maximize the space in your home. Not only that, but you can easily clean under your bed with a mop or vacuum without having to remove your mattress and box spring! Bonus: it doesn't hit you too hard. This definitely gives you peace of mind that once it goes up, it stays up, and when it goes down, it stays down. I would not recommend this bed frame to elderly people or people with disabilities that prevent them from lifting heavy objects; that said, you will want to use the under bed storage feature as it requires a lot of force to open/close it. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. The value is there. I would buy this brand again for another piece.
I love this bed but the gas springs don't work and I tried to buy new ones. I contacted the seller and got a quick response from them and they helped me resolve the issue. I love this bed.
The package is partially opened and both ends are glued back together. Luckily for us, everything is in the box. Assembly requires 2 people. When you get to the steps where you add the gas shocks, there isn't enough weight to lower the bed frame. After installing the slats on which the mattress rests, we must remove them and put them back in place. At this point there is enough weight to lower the frame. Otherwise it assembles easily and holds well. My daughter likes it very much.
The bed itself was ok. The frame is a few inches wider than our full-size mattress, but the overall fit is okay. Overall, I recommend this bed.
